Bosch Washing Machine Showing Fault Code: E18

Fault: Bosch washing machine showing fault code: E18 = filter or pump blockage.

Initial repair: Pull the washing machine out, lean it back ~ 45°, remove plastic cover on bottom right of machine, place a towel and a bowl underneath the machine. Locate the black circular filter cap and remove this. Inside the cavity please check for any obvious obstructions and ensure the impeller at the rear of cavity spins freely. Repeat the above instructions in reverse order and test the machine to see if it is working.
